K.J. Choi started out with the lead in the Chrysler Championship on Saturday and took it home with him after a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole. But in between was a wild and woolly third round in which no fewer than six players held or shared the top spot at one point.

Irishman Padraig Harrington won the European order of merit title in dramatic style after finishing joint second just a stroke behind India's Jeev Milkha Singh at the Volvo Masters.

A bogey on the last by Sergio Garcia not only cost the Spaniard the chance of a playoff with Singh but contributed to Harrington's maiden Vardon Trophy success. It was the first time Harrington had topped the order of merit all season.
