CARRINGTON
CLUB
The Carrington Club
is the northern most golf resort in New Zealand located on
the Karikari Peninsula In Northland.
The unique feature
of the Carrington Club golf Course is that, although it has
an oceanside location, it looks and plays like an "inland
golf" course, complete with rolling hills, vales, and natural
water hazards. It is an oceanside, tournament-quality,
18-hole golf course, designed by Matt Dye
The resultant effect
is the challenging play of a rolling inland golf course but
with the beautiful ocean vistas of its seaside location. That
this is unique combination unmatched at any other top ranked,
tournament quality golf course in New Zealand.

The
Club is sited between a 4 km private, white sandy beach and
the mountainside vineyards of the Karikari Estate winery.
The sweeping ocean vistas provide a spectacular foreground
for the Club's activities.
The Club also offers
clubhouse fine dinning and lounge facilities, a library, a
billiard room, a skeet and trap (clay targets) shooting range;
tennis courts; and a heated swimming pool with an ocean view.
The Carrington Club provides both
Lodge and Villa accommodations. Lodge accommodations are spacious,
air conditioned bedrooms with views to the ocean and vineyard
and opening onto a wide verandah connected to the Clubhouse.

The
Villas offer luxuriously appointed self-contained accommodation
with two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and two and a
half bathrooms. Porches on the first and second
floors look out over the fairways to Karikari Beach.
In addition to golf,
a quick trip to the end on the peninsula gives excellent rock
fishing, or drive north to the very tip of New Zealand.
